Saint- Laurent, Rully, France
The trip that made me fall in love with French Country decor and kitchen….
I fell in love with the region of Burgundy, specifically a town called Rully. My family and I stumbled upon Château Saint- Michel on Rue Saint-Laurent. Already sounds magical and french right? A dutch couple took over this château and turned it into a bed and breakfast. Three days of authentic, rustic, french country side with all the best wines, cheese and baguettes you can imagine! It was a fairly decent price considering how expensive Europe can be, great atmosphere and hospitality. If you want a quiet, quaint and relaxing french country side trip, this is the place. I believe they also do weddings! Take a look at some of the shots below!
Entrance
The front welcomes you with a beautiful courtyard, small church to the left and the beautiful pinki-ish-burgundy chateau in front.
You’ll be greeted by:
The owners dog, Ici, who roams the property and greets the guests. It’s too cute and she’s the sweetest!
You’ll be confronted by:
Rustic, vintage, walnut wood & historical dinning rooms…. already wanting to renovate my entire house like this….
and….
royally vintage wine tasting rooms..with wine tasting tours within the vineyards and under the chateau massive wine cellar!
Imagine a wine parlor in a home???

The best wine you’ll get your hands on! No seriously, my family and I shipped a FEW boxes of wine back over to the states!

Lastly…
You have limitless country side to ride rented bikes, tour the vineyards, go into town and get the best all you can eat 1$ baguettes, fresh cheese and grapes to picnic out with your boo, family and whoever your traveling with. This place has become mine and my family’s favorite stop when we visit Europe. Link to book below.
